Lucky Bansko SPA & Relax is a five-star aparthotel at the start of Bansko, on the left bank of the Glazne river and at the foot of Pirin. It has 115 studios and apartments, a large SPA centre with bio pools, three restaurants and plenty for children, and it is open all year round.
The hotel opened in 2007 and became a five-star hotel in 2014. Since then it has added an aqua complex with outdoor pools, a new SPA centre, two presidential suites and the alpine Fondue restaurant, and most rooms and the lobby have been redesigned since 2021. It has won awards including Best Ski Hotel in Bulgaria at the World Ski Awards 2021 and Best Luxury Year-Round 5-Star SPA Hotel in Bulgaria in 2025.
Le Bistro is the main restaurant (120 seats for dinner, 160 for breakfast), serving European, Bulgarian and Bansko regional dishes with two show-cooking stations and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Breakfast is a buffet, served Monday to Friday 08:00 to 10:30 and at weekends 08:00 to 11:00, and the dinner buffet runs daily from 19:00 to 22:30. Leonardo (60 seats) is the Italian restaurant, with pizza, pasta and a terrace by the outdoor pool, and the alpine Fondue restaurant (40 seats) opens in the winter season. Room service is available from 08:00 to 23:00.
The lobby bar (45 seats) has booths and a fireplace, Pura cigar bar (25 seats) is a quiet room with a cigar and hookah menu, and the Nutri bar next to the pools serves smoothies, fresh juices and healthy snacks from 08:00 to 20:00.
For children there is a Montessori-based playroom for ages 1 to 6 (30 m², open all year), a hall for ages 6 to 14 in winter (75 m²), both open 09:00 to 21:00, a children’s art club, a games hall, an outdoor playground, a children’s buffet and animators. In summer the hotel runs the Lucky Bansko Kids Camp.
The hotel also has conference halls, a hair salon, escape rooms, free ski lockers with boot dryers, ski school and equipment rental on request, two outdoor car parks with video surveillance, EV charging and wheelchair access. Pets up to 40 kg are welcome with their vaccination documents. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 12:00.
The hotel has ten room types, all with breakfast included. Studio Standard and Studio Lux (25 m²) sleep two adults and a child. The Apartment Standard (35 m²) has a separate bedroom and a sofa bed for two adults and a child. The Apartment Standard Plus and Apartment Lux (55 m²) and the Apartment Executive and Executive Lux (65 m²) sleep up to five, most with a fireplace and a balcony. The two-bedroom apartment (83 m²) and two-bedroom apartment Executive (90 m²) take up to six guests, and the wood-panelled Presidential Suite (65 m²) has a fireplace and a cast-iron bathtub. Lucky Bansko is at 4-10 Kir Blago Todev Street, at the start of Bansko on the left bank of the Glazne river, about 600 m from the town centre and around 150 km from Sofia. In winter a free shuttle runs every 30 minutes to and from the Bansko gondola (from the hotel 08:00 to 11:30, back 14:30 to 17:30), and a paid morning transfer goes straight to the slopes at Banderishka Polyana. In summer the hotel is a good base for hikes in Pirin National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Prices and what is includedPrices are in euros, per studio or apartment per night, and include breakfast, 9% VAT, Wi-Fi and use of the SPA zone and pools. Stays of 3 nights or more get 10% off. Prices are confirmed for the exact dates and guests when you enquire.
Booking and paymentEvery booking is made in the names of the guests. A booking is confirmed only once it has been paid in full, and the full amount is due no later than 7 days before arrival. Guest names cannot be changed on a confirmed booking: a change of name counts as a new booking and a cancellation of the original one.
Cancellation and changesFree cancellation or changes up to 7 days before arrival. After that, or for an early departure, the price of 1 night is charged. Christmas stays (18 to 28 December 2026): free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival, then 1 night is charged. New Year stays (29 December 2026 to 2 January 2027): free cancellation up to 21 days before arrival, then 50% of the stay is charged. Cancellations and changes must be made in writing.
Check-in and check-outCheck-in from 15:00, check-out by 12:00. Please let us know if you will arrive after 18:00. Show the voucher we send you at reception, together with an ID card or passport for each guest, as the hotel must register all guests with the police under Bulgarian law. You will be given the room type confirmed in your booking.
Extending your stayIf you want to stay longer, contact us first. Extra nights arranged directly at the hotel are charged at the hotel’s reception rates.
Children and extra bedsOne child up to 11 stays free on an extra bed in every room type, and babies up to 3 get a free cot with linen. A second child up to 11 also stays free in the Apartment Standard Plus, Executive, Executive Lux and Presidential Suite. Other combinations (one adult, a third child or extra adults) are priced as described on each room.
Holiday dinnersFor guests staying those nights, the Christmas dinner on 25 December and the New Year’s Eve dinner on 31 December are mandatory and paid on top of the room price. The prices are shown on each room.
PetsPets are welcome for 20 € per night up to 10 kg and 30 € per night from 10 to 40 kg, paid at the hotel.
Problems during your stayIf anything is not as expected, tell the hotel reception and let us know straight away, within 48 hours at the latest, so that we can resolve it with the hotel. Any damage caused to the hotel is settled directly between the guest and the hotel.
