Grand Hotel Bansko is a five-star resort and spa hotel in the Old Town of Bansko, at the foot of the Pirin Mountains and within walking distance of the town centre. Part of the Grand Hotel Resorts by Pulse chain, it works on an All Inclusive basis and has over 180 rooms and suites, from Deluxe and Executive double rooms to spacious apartments and a 200 m² penthouse.
The hotel is best known for its spa: over 2,000 m² of pools, saunas and relaxation areas, including indoor and outdoor thermal pools, an aquatonic pool and a children’s pool. It also has a Pulse Fitness club, a large children’s corner and gaming club, and the Monte Carlo gaming hall. The hotel has won several awards, including three World Luxury Awards in 2023 as a luxury family All Inclusive, ski and spa hotel.
The All Inclusive programme includes breakfast, brunch, lunch, an afternoon snack, dinner and a midnight snack, with soft drinks, coffee and tea, draught beer, wine and local spirits. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available on request.
The All Day Dining restaurant serves international and Bulgarian dishes in a stylish setting, with show cooking where the chefs prepare food in front of you. The Lounge & Whiskey Bar offers a wide selection of drinks in a modern atmosphere, the Lobby Bar has views of the Pirin peaks and live music in the evenings, and in summer the Pool Bar serves cocktails by the outdoor pools.
The Pulse Fitness club has the latest Technogym strength and cardio equipment and a stretching area, and the hotel hosts 3- and 5-day Pulse Camp sports retreats several times a year. For children there is the Happy Kids club with animation and activities, a large children’s corner and a gaming club with arcade games, darts and pinball. Baby cots are free on request.
The hotel also has a business centre and conference and banquet halls for meetings, events and celebrations, on-site parking with an electric car charging station, and the Monte Carlo gaming hall for adult guests.
The hotel has over 180 rooms and apartments in five categories. The Deluxe Double Room (35 m²) has a king-size bed or two single beds and sleeps two adults and a child. The Executive Double Room (45 m²) is in the quieter section A, with a king-size bed, a sitting area, a safe and a balcony with views of Pirin and the pool. The apartments (60 to 90 m²) have one or two bedrooms, a living room and a terrace, and sleep up to four adults and a child. The Presidential Penthouse on the top floor has 200 m² of space, a fireplace, panoramic windows and a bathroom with a jacuzzi and TV. Grand Hotel Bansko is at 5 Glazne Street in the Old Town of Bansko, a short walk from the Holy Trinity Church and Nikola Vaptsarov Square and about 1.5 km from the Bansko gondola lift station. The Pirin National Park and the Vihren area are a short drive away, and Sofia airport is about 160 km to the north. In summer the hotel is a good base for hiking in Pirin, and in winter for skiing on the slopes of Bansko ski resort.

Prices and what is includedPrices are in euros, per room per night for two adults (two-bedroom apartment for four guests), on HB+ (breakfast, dinner and brunch in the Lounge Bar) or 5* Ultra All Inclusive; at Christmas and New Year only All Inclusive is sold. They include the Grand SPA, the adults-only (18+) Pulse Therme Bansko zone, the Pulse Fitness gym, the ski shuttle to the gondola, ski storage, the Kids Club, insurance and 9% VAT. The tourist tax of 1.33 € per person per night is added on top. Minimum stay: 2 nights in early winter and spring, 3 nights at Christmas, New Year and in high season. The prices for each season are listed on each room.
Early booking and long stays15% off for bookings confirmed by 31 October 2026, and 5% off for bookings confirmed by 30 November 2026, for stays from 1 December 2026 to 29 April 2027. Early-booking stays are confirmed with a 30% deposit paid by 15 November 2026 (15 December 2026 for the 5% offer), and the rest is paid no later than 7 days before arrival. In early winter, high season and spring, long stays get free nights: 7 nights for the price of 6, 8 for 7, 9 for 8, 10 for 9, 11 for 10, 12 for 11, 13 for 12 and 14 for 12, and in early winter also 5 for 4. Long-stay offers can be combined with early booking; they do not apply at Christmas and New Year or to extra charges.
Cancellation and changesEarly winter (1 to 23 December), high season (3 January to 6 March) and spring (7 March to 29 April): free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival; 50% of the stay is charged from 6 to 4 days before arrival and 100% from 3 days before arrival or for a no-show. Christmas (24 to 29 December) and New Year (30 December to 2 January): free cancellation up to 28 days before arrival; 50% is charged from 27 to 14 days before arrival and 100% from 13 days before arrival or for a no-show. Cancellations and changes must be made in writing.
Check-in and check-outCheck-in from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. Show the voucher we send you at reception, together with an ID card or passport for each guest, as the hotel must register all guests under Bulgarian law. You will be given the room type confirmed in your booking.
Children and extra bedsDeluxe room: 2 adults and 1 child up to 5.99. Executive room: 2 adults only. One-bedroom apartment: 3 adults and 1 child up to 5.99, or 2 adults and 2 children; the first child up to 11.99 stays free, and the price of a second child aged 6 to 11.99 or a third adult is shown on the room. Two-bedroom apartment: 4 adults and 1 child up to 5.99. A child who is not registered, or whose age does not match the booking, is charged as a third adult.
Christmas and New YearThe Christmas gala dinner (buffet, All Inclusive drinks, DJ and guest performers, and a visit from Santa with presents for children and adults) is included in the Christmas price. The New Year’s Eve gala dinner (international buffet, All Inclusive drinks, a festive programme with a DJ and guest performers, fireworks and champagne at midnight) is included in the New Year price.
Extra chargesRoom with a balcony, if requested and confirmed by the hotel: 12 € per night. Guarded parking: 6 € per night, subject to availability. A specific room number: 36 €. Executive room with jacuzzi: 60 €. A pet up to 5 kg: 30 €; larger pets can stay at Grand Pets (Grand Hotel Therme) for an extra fee. Discounts do not apply to extra charges.
Hotel rulesSmoking is not allowed indoors or in the rooms and is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, smart casual dress is expected in the restaurants, and bathrobes are worn only in the SPA area.
Extending your stayIf you want to stay longer, contact us first. Extra nights arranged directly at the hotel are charged at the hotel’s reception rates.
Problems during your stayIf anything is not as expected, tell the hotel reception and let us know straight away, within 48 hours at the latest, so that we can resolve it with the hotel. Any damage caused to the hotel is settled directly between the guest and the hotel.
