Yane sandanski hut

Yane Sandanski Hut (also known as Iane Sandanski Hut) sits in the Pirin Mountains of Bulgaria, specifically in the Popina Laka area near Sandanski. Located at 1,230 meters serves as the lowest hut in Pirin and offers 70-75 beds, electricity, water, parking, and a restaurant.

Access by Car

An 11-18 km paved asphalt road runs directly from Sandanski town to the hut, making it drivable year-round. The route follows the Glavnitsa River valley in the southern Popina Luka region.​

Hiking Routes

Start from Sandanski via an ecotrail through the Pirin Mountains to reach the hut on foot. Nearby trails connect to other huts like Kamenitsa (2 hours), Sinanitsa (5 hours), or Vihren (7 hours). Popinolashki Falls lies just 10 minutes away.
