Sinanitsa Hut (хижа „Синаница“) is in Northern Pirin on the shore of Sinanishko Lake at about 2180–2200 m, directly below Sinanitsa Peak (2516 m), in Pirin National Park near Bansko. It is a high‑mountain hut reachable only on foot, most commonly from Vihren Hut side or from the Kresna/Vlahi side.
Main summer approach (from Vihren Hut / Bansko)
This is the classic and most popular route in season. Drive from Bansko to Vihren Hut (хижа „Вихрен“) – about 16 km on an asphalt mountain road, ~25–30 minutes; road is busy in summer, go early for parking. From the Vihren Hut parking, follow the blue-marked trail that starts near the fountain by the parking and initially follows Banderitsa River. The path climbs toward Banderishka Porta (~2500 m), then traverses right along Sinanishki Ridge to Sinanitsa/Sinaniska Porta, finally descending about 200 m to Sinanishko Lake and the hut. Time: around 4–5 hours one way for average hikers in summer.
