Skakavitsa Hut is located in the Rila Mountains of Bulgaria at an altitude of about 1869 meters above sea level. It is a two-story building with a capacity of 79 beds. The hut can be reached from the area called “Zeleni Preslap,” with a hiking time of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Nearby is the famous Rilska Skakavitsa Waterfall, reachable within about 15 minutes on foot from the hut.
To get there, one can start from the Panichishte resort in the Rila Mountains, where the path to the hut begins.
