Sedemte Rilski Ezera Hut (Seven Rila Lakes Hut) is located next to the famous Seven Rila lakes in the northwestern part of the Rila Mountains, Bulgaria. The hut sits at around 2300 meters altitude, near the glacial lakes which are a popular mountain destination.

How to get there:

The most popular way is to drive to Panichishte (accessible by car from Sofia).

From Panichishte, take the chair lift up to the Rila Lakes Hut (at about 2080 meters elevation).

From the hut, the trail to the Seven Rila Lakes and the hut itself is well-marked and takes about 30-50 minutes of hiking on gentle terrain.

You can also hike from nearby villages such as Govedartsi or Pionerska Hut, which take several hours and require good fitness and preparation.
