The Old Buzludja Hut (also “Small” or “Stara” Buzludja) is located in the southern slopes of Hadzhi Dimitar (Buzludja) Peak (1,432 m) in Shipchenska Mountain, Central Stara Planina, near Shipka Pass, Bulgaria.
Access by Car Asphalt road from Kazanlak (25 km) or Shipka Pass summit (11 km) directly to the hut. Parking available on site. Hiking Access From Shipka town: 2–3.5 hours marked trail; From Krun village: 3 hours marked. Part of E-3 Kom-Emine trail; ski lifts and pistes nearby in winter.
