Bezbog Hut is located in the Pirin Mountains of Bulgaria at an altitude of about 2240 meters, situated on the shore of Bezbog Lake. It is one of the more modern and accessible mountain huts in the area, offering picturesque surroundings and serving as a base for hikes around the region, including to Bezbog Peak. The hut operates continuously throughout the year. The capacity of the sleeping facilities is 102 places plus 6 additional beds in the apartments. The rooms have different standards: with a bathroom in the room, with a bathroom on the floor, and a tourist dormitory. The hut has a dining room with always delicious cooked menus, coffee, tea, and more.
The most common and easiest way to reach Bezbog Hut is by car to Gotse Delchev Hut, which is about 11 km from the town of Dobrinishte on a good asphalt road. From Gotse Delchev Hut, you take a two-seater chairlift that goes up to near Bezbog Hut, with a scenic 30-minute ride that offers beautiful views of the Pirin Mountains. The chairlift ride is a favored choice for convenience and enjoying the landscape. Alternatively, if you prefer hiking, you can hike from Gotse Delchev Hut to Bezbog Hut on marked trails. The hike typically takes 2-3 hours and passes beautiful mountain scenery. The trail is manageable but consider your preparation and weather conditions.Dobrinishte is the nearest town (about 5 km away), and from there you can get to Gotse Delchev Hut by taxi or car. Public transport to the lift base is limited, so private transport is recommended.
