Svishtiplaz Hut is located at 1,475-1,482m in the “Malka Poliana” area, at the southwest foothills of Mihalya Peak (1,804m), in the Zlatitsa-Teteven part of the Middle Stara Planina Mountains, near Zlatitsa.
How to get there:
Zlatitsa (south): 3h – Marked trail from Nivite; dirt road for 4×4. Yamna village: 5h – marked; panoramic. Kashana Hut (north): 3.5h – Asphalt from Zlatitsa (11km); red markings via Svishti Plaz Peak (1,888m, +1.5hr). Paskal Hut: 1.5h – Along the ridge. Momina Poliana Hut: – 4h Two routes: via Groba or Konski Kladenevts.
