Hristo Smirnenski Hut is located in the eastern part of the Rila Mountains at an altitude of about 1760-1860 meters near the area called Valcha Polyana. Accessible via asphalt road connected from Belmeken Dam and Yundola. About 3.5 hours by car from Belovo or about 2.5 to 3 hours drive from Sofia via Belovo and Yundola.
The hut has 80 beds. There are 19 rooms with private bathrooms (double, triple, and quadruple), two apartments each with two rooms and private bathrooms (double and triple), and 7 rooms with shared bathrooms (double, triple, quadruple, and quintuples).
The hut features a hall with 30 seats, suitable for seminars and training courses, a sauna, barbecue, ski slope, and ski storage.
Drive from Sofia towards Belovo and then Yundola on well-maintained roads. Alternatively, from the village of Sestrimo, a more scenic but narrower and winding road leads to the hut passing near Belmeken Dam. The hut is located next to an asphalt road, so it can be reached easily by car.

pets and noise rulesWe care about the comfort of our guests and staff and strive to maintain a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Noise should be kept to a minimum no later than 11:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
Pets that do not make noise and have good hygiene habits are allowed in the hut. Price: 10 BGN per night for medium and large breeds, and 5 BGN for small breeds
