Strazhata Hut is located at 1,700m on the main ridge of the Central Balkan Mountains (Sredna Stara Planina), near Beklemeto Pass and peaks like Golyama Koska (2,362m) and Malka Koska—part of the Kom-Emine E3 trail.
How to get there: Beklemeto Pass (east) – 2.5h Easiest; marked blue/red trail along ridge, parking available. Uzana area (west) – 3 – 4h Asphalt to pass, then east; scenic ridge views. Mazalat Hut (south) – 1.5 – 2h Along main ridge (E3 trail); connects well for multi-hut trips. Partizanska Pesen Hut – 2.5h Forest/ridge path.
