Paskal Hut is at 1,475m in the Mali Izvor area of Sredna Stara Planina, above Pirdop town in Sofia Province.
How to get there:
Drive to Pirdop train station, park at end of main street east.
Hike: Marked mountain path 2hr (moderate, forest/meadows); or black dirt road 40min on foot. 4×4/Vehicle: Dirt road ~40min from station (high clearance recommended).
Free for children under 10 years old.
