Belmeken hut

Belmeken Hut is located in the Eastern Rila Mountains and is located 2224 meters above sea level. It is built on the shore of Ravnichalsko Lake in a beautiful circus. It is not accessible by car and can only be reached by foot .

In the summer, there is a permanent person in the hut. In the winter, the hut is open only by request on the specified phone number, but an open room with a capacity of up to 10 people is left, where they can spend a normal evening in harsh winter conditions. During the summer season, bean soup is prepared, and upon order, grill, french fries, salads can be prepared in just a few minutes. Cold beer and homemade wine and brandy are also part of the menu. You can also start your morning in the fresh air with fried slices or an omelet.

The journey from Kostenski Vodopad (villas Kostenets) to the hut is 5 hours. It is possible to transport tourists from the town of Kostenets or villas Kostenets along the road to wherever possible with off-road jeeps.
