Kozya Stena

Kozya Stena Hut is in Middle Stara Planina, Troyan section of Central Balkan National Park, at 1562m elevation in Haiduk Cheshma area (near Kozya Stena peak, 1670m).

How to get there:
Beklemeto (fastest/easiest, 2h): Steep climb NW slope of Tumin dyal ridge, yellow marking joins from Chiflik; through beech forest to Vetrovyti Preslap saddle, bypass Kozya Stena peak. Hristo Danovo village (safe winter route, 3-4h): Green marking after military post, steep up Uzunborun ridge through forest. Park at post. Klisura town/train station (5h): Yellow marking via town/viaduct, dirt road switchbacks to Vetrovyti Preslap. From Eho Hut (ridge, 2.2h): Red marking west along main crest.
