Dobrila Hut is located in the Central Balkan National Park at 1,804 m elevation in the saddle between Dobrila Peak and Ambaritsa (Levski) Peak, near Sopot in the heart of Stara Planina Mountains, Plovdiv Province, Bulgaria.
Access by Car
No direct car access; nearest parking at Sopot cable car base (seasonal).
Hiking Access
Sopot cable car (summer only): 2–2.5 hours marked trail from top station; ; Beklemeto Pass: 3.5 hours ridge trail; Dermenka Hut: 3 hours via Ambaritsa and Kupen Peaks (E-3 route).
The old building has been restored with entirely new construction and furnished in full luxury; it is water-supplied and connected to the city electricity grid. Currently, Dobrila Hut is modernized with pellet-fired central heating, fiber optic network for digital TV and high-speed internet suitable for team-building and remote work. It offers 70 beds, a kitchen, buffet, canteen, and internal bathrooms/toilets.
New Section
The new section is located right next to the hut. It is a solid new building with central heating. It features 15 double rooms, of which 8 have private bathrooms/toilets and 7 have shared ones. A mehana with traditional Bulgarian cuisine, bar, fireplace, and barbecue for events upon request. The complex is ideal for trainings, seminars, team-building, green/white schools. It hosts family/business celebrations and weddings. Perfect for individual and group stays.
